Comtrak Logistic is a full service broker for transportation of all types. Comtrak maintains the highest service standards in the marketplace simply because the customer gave the service request to us, not someone else. It is imperative, therefore, that only the most professional extensions of Comtrak represent us.
Over 50 carriers, both intermodal and highway, are used regularly to augment other services we provide our customers. Today’s environment does not allow for us to satisfy the customer only when it fits our needs. Carriers are used to fill lanes to improve profitability and lower costs, allow our customers to go through spikes in their shipping patterns without failures, as well as offer services that could not otherwise be provided, so the customer does not have to shop for alternatives.
Our carriers performance is measured, and they are accountable. Insurance limits, service standards and integrity of our partners are a reflection of our own. In 1999, Comtrak Logistics tendered over $15,000,000 in business to our service partners. We are extremely proud that while we continue and expand our relationships and add qualified partners, we have never lost one through service.
RAIL
Comtrak Logistics offers Door to Door services for our intermodal customers via rail. IMC and e-commerce rail contracts are used to insure the lowest cost to our customers while Comtrak provides the drayage on at least one leg of the move. As this business grows, so will the number of cities where Comtrak offers the drayage. Should the customer want private equipment to move their goods or if there is a trailer/container shortage, Comtrak can utilize our own 53' rail equipped highway trailers.
